Segmented Molds
In segmented molds the mold is divided into numbers of parts to create tire shape during vulcanization. These contain seven to ten segments with distinct side wall plates in order to reduce green tire movement during the curing process. This design makes it possible for you to generate intricate tread designs and get precise dimensions near to ±0.05mm.
Two-Piece Molds
The two piece molds are steel or forged aluminum bases with steel engraved tread rings attached to the mold back. The cavity of these molds is divided into two sections by a single parting line.This design allows you to produce heavy thread pattern tires for rough terrain applications.
Puzzle Molds
Tire manufacturing has been transformed by the use of puzzle-molds that replace traditional air holes with micro gaps between inner pitches. This design prevents bent rubber formation and improves the exterior quality of your tires. precision engineered gaps between segments are used in the mold's venting system to exhaust internal gases.
Wave Parting Molds
Wave parting molds are an advanced design that allows you to keep complex and varied tread patterns with innovative parting line geometry. Wave-shaped separation between mold segments permits improved pattern transfer and contributes to decreased flash at segment joints.
Steel Engraved Molds
These molds have direct pattern engraving made by advanced 5 axis machining technology. You get outstanding thermal stability, corrosion resistance and wear resistance because of using chromium enriched steel. Specialized CAD/CAM systems with integrated sipe blades either machined or inserted from solid material, are used to make precise tread patterns with these molds.
1. Suitable to scrapers and forklift operating in areas like port, airport, factory and warehouse site etc., with good cutting and wear resistances.
2. Wide and thick tread pattern provides good ground contact and traction, self-cleaning, long service life.
3. We can supply both solid forklift tire and pneumatic forklift tire.
They are rolled in thin layers of rubber onto a metal frame mount and pressed through a hydraulic system, this process hardens the form and makes the rubber hold. With every full rotation of a wheel turn, the process adds another layer. The thickness of the rubber layers varies depending on the application of the tire.
• 2-layer solid rubber tires consist of a hard rubber layer, which is reinforced using metal wire rings, and a thick wear layer. Thanks to the special compound and additives to the rubber, these tires are very unlikely to slip.
• 3-layer solid rubber tires feature a third rubber layer, which is flexible and is located between the heel layer and the wear layer. As a result, this type of tire offers more flexibility and stability than 2-layer tires. However, due to the extra layer, these tires are also quicker to heat up. Due to this heat, the rubber becomes softer at higher speeds and loads, which means the tires are susceptible to more wear & tear.
• Special solid rubber tires, including anti-static solid rubber tires, are also available for special purposes. These anti-static tires are ideal for use in areas with high risk of explosion.
Once the tire is properly sized, it will be put into a mold and heated, allowing the rubber to harden. This mold will also serve as the instrument that puts the tread on the solid tire.
This type of solid tires are often used in construction zones where a variety of metals, scrap, nails, screws, and other hardware may frequently puncture tires on heavy, load-bearing vehicles. Recycling centers and landfill operations utilize solid tires to transport large masses of material and drive through many ground hazards.
