A set of tire molds is generally divided into two parts according to the structure: shell and cavity. The shell part of the tire mold is relatively fixed for the same manufacturer, while the cavity part involving the pattern curve part often changes.
The shell part is roughly divided into: middle sleeve ring, upper cover, upper cover open slide, upper cover closed slide, T-block, middle sleeve, inlet and outlet nozzles, middle sleeve slide, guide strip, bow seat, bow seat bottom plate, base slide, base, limit block, etc.
The cavity part is roughly divided into: upper side mold, pattern ring, upper chuck, auxiliary steel ring, lower chuck, lower steel ring, lower side mold, etc.
The production process of semi-steel and full-steel tire molds is roughly divided into design, programming, processing, trimming and assembly.
