In the production of tires, molds are indispensable tools. The quality of molds directly affects the quality of tires. There are patterns and logos in the molds of tires or products. These are all carved processes, which are relatively delicate and easy to be covered by rubber during use. The use of molds is carried out under certain pressure and high frequency conditions, which will inevitably accumulate a large amount of rubber materials. When the material accumulates to a certain extent, it will affect the surface shape of the tire or product, and make the product a defective or waste product, so the mold surface must be cleaned frequently.
The application of molds has promoted industrial production, and mold cleaning has become a problem that people have always been concerned about. After long-term exploration and practice, people have accumulated many methods for cleaning molds. Initially, the mold was cleaned by soaking in high-temperature salt water, but this method is inefficient and is mainly used to clean small molds, while it is time-consuming and labor-intensive for large molds. With the development of the times, sandblasting cleaning has emerged, which is also the most commonly used method for modern people. In specific applications, sand, glass balls or plastic beads are commonly used.
However, this cleaning method will damage the mold surface, affect the quality of the product, shorten the service life of the mold, and thus increase the production cost. In recent years, the commonly used mold cleaning methods include: chemical cleaning, dry ice cleaning, high-pressure water cleaning and ultrasonic cleaning. However, these cleaning methods still have certain limitations in terms of scale and cleaning efficiency, and these methods all have certain pollution, so they cannot fully meet environmental protection needs.
